| Any further additions make the table unduly cumbersome. |
| Table 1 and 2 are normally reserved for the close relatives of both familes. |
| Other relatives and friends are then seated at the remaining tables. A marriage is a uniting of two families and with this in mind it is wise to integrate the two groups for the meal. This helps break the ice and can encourage new friendships. |
